My work is a mixture of colors and shapes, of abstract and figurative forms.
While I am painting, colors and shapes exist together and are born one from another. There are the right colors and the right shapes even in abstract works. When things seem to go strange in a painting, most of the time it is a matter of color or shape.

Picasso used to say: “when I don’t know which color I must add to continue my work, I add black and the problem is solved.” In some of my paintings, I arrived in such a stage: “and now? what should I do?” I confess that the black color helped me to find a diferent perspective of the work, gave me a new look over the scene just sharing the canvas or modifying the painting space. Thank you, Picasso! I don’t wish to make this a rule but it is a fantastic emergency issue in some cases.
