I am glad to share with you some Art books that are essencial to me. These books helped me to better understand the History of Art and the Art timeline that guided humanity until our present time. The History of Art is linked to the World History in many aspects. It is also linked to philosophy, psychology and sociology.
I used to read much more in the past. I have at home more than 500 art books. I started my readings of art at the Middle Ages period and followed the timeline until our modern days. It was crucial for me to respect the timeline and to reseach about different countries in the same period. Today, I re-read these texts for pleasure or just use them for research.
My intention is to share with you some art books that made a difference to the way I feel as an artist, some artists’ biographies who inspired me, and also books written by art experts that helped me to better understand artworks.
